I have been learning how to play some of the things Shawn was doing on guitar, and it is certainly the most challenging material I have ever tried. The skill level needed to even start to learn is beyand my ability, but I have been hacking away at it for a while, and it is very rewarding. Maybe I'll make slow headway, but it will be fun. I have been enjoying Shawn's music for so long, and there is nothing that comes close.

My physics professor introduced me to shawn lanes music last year, and its some of the most inspiring music i have ever heard. I just wish i could have saw him live or met him. Seems like he was a super nice guy with no ego about his playing. which is so rare. anyway, thanks for everything, and i hope your having a good time in heaven with all the other great guitar players who have passed away.

No other musician in this world has affected me or influenced me in such a deep, profound, and lasting manner. For him to be able to draw out such powerful emotions, thoughts, and experiences, not just within my own life, but in countless other hearts and minds across the globe, is to taste immortality. All this and I never even knew the fellow. I can only imagine how much he is missed by family and friends.
